Today on 10th of Muharram-ul-Haram, we commemorate the supreme sacrifice made by Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA). The great sacrifice rendered by the grandson of Hazrat Muhammed (SAW) and his companions gives us the most precious lesson that the path of righteousness is strewn with hardships and sufferings; but truth comes out triumphant ultimately. The battle of Karbala gives us a lesson that we should face the evil and falsehood with unwavering resolve and pure tenacity, as was practiced by Hazrat Hussain (RA) to uphold the inexorable truth. This was the most decisive battle till the end of this world which gives us the ultimate lesson to stand upright and hold on to the utmost belief in Allah alone even when your adversary is apparently more powerful than you. 
We pay our truest gratitude to Hazrat Imam (RA) Hussain and companions for showing us the path to salvation. 

Let’s pray, while commemorating the decisive battle of Karbala between truth and falsehood, that all Muslims who are undergoing siege and affliction may find their freedom from their coercive occupiers. Let’s resolve to stand together for the true cause of Islam where justice prevails. May Allah Almight grant us courage to follow the footsteps of great leader Hazrat Imam Hussain (RZ).
